As the ruling party in Bophuthatswana, the UCDP defied all the critics by merging as fabulously successful young country with no relative equal on the African continent. This is unmistakable to what has become of the North West Province since the current administration assumes control after the election. Standards and service delivery across the board have sunk to deplorable levels, with a little hope of any improvement while the current government remains in power.
Ensure that poverty releaf funds are properly administered by putting in place an integrated approach which will target the poor and elderly define timelines and allocations. Ensure that civil pensioners receive their social grants regularly and timeously. Fight fraud in the pension system. Enducate beneficiaries on grant reviews. Offer bank and post offices as other options for receiving grants to reduce congestion at pay points. Monitor the payment and allocation of child care and poverty relief grants to stop abuse . Ensure that government remains responsible and in charge of the disbursement of grants.
